Hydraulics Online: for directional control valve and other hydraulic equipment supplies, trusted innovative systems design and repairs. You name it. We do it.
A directional control valve is one of the most fundamental components in a hydraulic system, allowing fluid to flow into different paths from one or more sources. It usually consists of a spool inside a cylinder which is mechanically or electrically controlled. The movement of the spool restricts or permits the flow, thus it controls the fluid flow.
Varying internal constructions within a directional control valve allow and restrict flow paths from various inlets to various outlets. Some of the more popular ones are poppets/pistons, balls, rotary spools and sliding spools.
Directional control valve brands and manufacturers include: Bosch Rexroth, Comatrol, Continental Hydraulics, Linde, Parker, Poclain and Sun Hydraulics.
