A new customer, who produces a range of lavender toiletries and gifts, contacted the technical team recently looking for hydraulic systems design support. The company was looking to build a new piece of equipment; a ‘lavender lifter’ to de-head and harvest lavender flowers using bristle heads, much like a road sweeper – albeit much more gently!
The team worked through the proposed design and then quoted for a hydraulic motor with 50cc end ports, a 16mm flange and a priority flow divider 3/8 BSP and it was despatched the next day. The sweet smell of success!
